Send a study link

Use a study link when you want participants to complete the study on their own time.

On the Studies dashboard, each editable study has a Study actions menu. In the audit, this menu included Copy link, Duplicate, Pause, Archive, and Delete.

When to send a link

Send a link when:

• you have tested or previewed the study
• the goal is clear
• the interaction format is right for the audience
• the follow-up depth matches the task
• you know how you will use the responses

What to include in the invite

Tell participants:

• why you are asking
• whether they will answer through text or voice
• approximately how long it will take
• that Lemma may ask follow-up questions
• how their answers will be used

Example:

We are using Lemma to collect short interview-style feedback. It should take about five minutes. You will answer a few questions, and Lemma may ask follow-ups so we can understand the details behind your answer.

Manage the study after sharing

Use the study actions menu to:

• copy the link again
• duplicate a study
• pause collection
• archive a study
• delete a study

Only delete a study when you are sure the data is no longer needed.
