Test or preview a study
Check the participant experience and output expectations before sharing a study.
Test every study before you share it widely.
The goal is not to produce a perfect answer. The goal is to catch confusing wording, missing context, weak follow-up guidance, and outputs that are too vague to use.
What to check
The opening makes sense
The participant should understand why they are being asked to answer and what kind of response is useful.
The format matches the task
Voice should feel natural for longer qualitative answers. Text should feel appropriate for shorter written input.
Follow-ups add depth
Good follow-ups ask for reasons, examples, expectations, tradeoffs, or next steps.
The output will support a decision
After sessions complete, the response table, transcript, Doc, Slides, or Research Agent should make the answers easier to act on.
Fix common issues
Tighten the goal and add clearer follow-up targets.
Rewrite the opening question in plain language.
Lower the follow-up depth or narrow the study goal.
Add the decision the study should support and the evidence you need.
Current note
The read-only example study scanned during the docs audit had a View survey button, but the linked builder route returned a 404 in that session. Capture a working participant preview from a normal editable study before publishing participant-flow screenshots.
