Review and run

Resolve a Sequence problem

Start from Open → Problems, identify the real scope, and retry only when duplicate risk is understood.

In this collection
On this page

Problems are found under Outbox → Open → Problems.

Diagnose before changing setup

Open the problem Sequence

Confirm the Lead, Mission, Sender, next touch, and time. A Sender issue can affect several Sequences.

Read the failed or blocked touch

Open Planned touches and read the failure reason or timing condition. A blocked prerequisite and a failed provider attempt need different recovery.

Expand History and provider evidence

Determine whether LinkedIn may already have accepted the action. An unresolved provider outcome is not safe to retry.

Fix the actual scope

Reconnect or resume the Sender, wait for a retry boundary, remove a Mission or Manual sending hold, correct the Lead or message before a new revision, or stop the Sequence when the intent is no longer valid.

Use the available recovery

Choose Retry task only when the drawer offers it and the external action is duplicate-safe. A Lemma-led Sequence without an Outbox action must be handled from its Mission or escalated to Support.

Verify the result

Return to Open → Problems. Confirm the facet, next touch, and history changed; do not rely on a success toast alone.

Common problem scopes

Sender

Disconnected or restricted provider state, intentional pause, exhausted capacity, or retry boundary. Open Settings → Sender.

Timing

Future schedule, closed active window, daily capacity, spacing, or an unresolved prior LinkedIn event.

Lead

Do not contact, missing LinkedIn identity, active outreach conflict, or the wrong relationship state for the playbook.

Message

Missing variable, rendered invitation over 200 characters, or a changed Manual revision that still needs approval.

When not to retry

Do not retry when:

  • the history does not resolve whether LinkedIn accepted the action;
  • the Lead is Do not contact;
  • the message or audience intent changed;
  • the same action may already have happened;
  • the drawer does not offer Retry task.

Use Support with the Sequence, timestamp, and provider evidence when the external outcome remains unclear.
