Different controls stop different work. First decide whether the scope is one Sequence, one Manual Mission, one Lemma-led Mission’s LinkedIn activity, all Manual sending, or the entire Sender.
Pause a Lemma-led Mission after this turn
In a Lemma-led Mission, choose Pause after this turn when you want Lemma to stop starting new Mission turns. The current turn may finish.
This is not the fastest way to stop provider-side LinkedIn activity. Use Hold LinkedIn for the Mission or Pause for the Sender when sending must stop.
Hold LinkedIn for one Lemma-led Mission
Open More mission actions → Hold LinkedIn. Provider-side LinkedIn work for that Mission is held, while Lemma can continue research and drafting.
Choose Resume LinkedIn after the operating reason is resolved.
Pause one Manual Mission
Choose Pause from the Manual Mission, or open one Manual Sequence in Outbox and choose Pause Manual Mission. All Manual sending for that Mission is held. Choose Resume from the Mission or Resume Mission in the Sequence drawer to remove the hold.
Hold all Manual sending
At the top of Outbox, choose Hold all manual sending to stop all Manual sending. Lemma-led work is unaffected by this global hold.
The Outbox banner shows the active hold. Choose Resume manual sending from that banner to remove it.
Stop one Manual Sequence
Open the Sequence and choose Stop Sequence. This stops future cold touches for that exact Manual Mission and Lead. It does not stop other Leads, Missions, or Lemma-led work.
Pause the Sender
Open Settings → Sender and choose Pause when every eligible action through that LinkedIn account should stop becoming eligible. An already in-flight provider action may still need to settle.
Complete a Lemma-led Mission
Choose More mission actions → Complete Mission in a Lemma-led Mission when the Mission itself should end.
Completion:
- cancels unclaimed pending, ready, blocked, and approved tasks;
- does not pretend an already-sending provider action was canceled;
- enters Finishing while sending work settles;
- becomes Completed when no sending task remains;
- preserves the plan, evidence, outreach history, and Lead memberships as read-only history.
The terminal Mission can still show a completion report. Provider-backed metrics may display an em dash when the required evidence is unavailable, and action-needed items can remain after the Mission ends.
Archive terminal Missions
Completed and failed Missions can be archived from the expanded Mission navigation. Archiving:
- removes the Mission from Current;
- preserves its Lead, Outbox, conversation, and result history;
- keeps it searchable under Archived.
Archive from the individual Mission row only after it is terminal. Archiving is organization, not deletion, and does not rewrite provider history.
After applying a stop, inspect Outbox and the Audit log. A provider action already accepted by LinkedIn remains part of the history.
Emergency order
When unintended sending may be imminent:
- use Hold LinkedIn for one Mission or Pause for the Sender;
- use Hold all manual sending when the scope is every Manual Mission;
- inspect the affected Sequences and provider evidence;
- open Support from the Lemma sidebar with the Mission, Lead, Sender, and timestamp.
