Choose the Lemma-led path when you know the outcome but want help clarifying the audience, research, and plan.
Lemma creates a clarifying Mission and opens its conversation. The goal is preserved and the conversation shows what Lemma needs next.
Write the goal
Include:
- what you offer;
- who should care;
- why this audience is relevant now;
- the conversation or outcome you want;
- geography, timing, claims, tone, and eligibility constraints;
- what Lemma must not infer or promise.

Create the Mission
Open New Mission
Open New Mission. The main text area is the Lemma-led path.
Describe the outbound goal
Use the large text area under What do you want Lemma to achieve? Enter adds a new line. Use Command+Enter or Control+Enter, or choose the send icon, to start.
Continue in the Mission
Lemma opens the new Mission. Answer the focused questions and correct any interpretation that changes the audience, offer, or constraints.
Keep Review approval while learning
Open More mission actions and confirm Review approval is selected. When Lemma requests a consequential decision, the conversation displays Approve and Deny.
Approve the exact request
Read the prompt and current Mission context before choosing Approve. If the request is unclear or wrong, choose Deny or explain the correction in the conversation.
Auto approval
Auto approval applies only to future LinkedIn Sequences. It does not change existing decisions. Enable it only after the audience, claims, and operating boundaries are stable.
Sender state, schedule, daily targets, Do not contact, eligibility, holds, and provider conditions still apply.
Common issues
The goal is too broad
Use one audience and one outcome. A larger Lead pool does not repair an unclear goal.
Lemma needs Leads
Import a bounded Lead set and, when needed, create a List. See Leads.
Lemma needs a Sender
Open Settings → Sender. A healthy verified connection normally becomes Ready automatically. Check the configured targets and current effective limits separately: automatic capacity warm-up starts with the first provider-authorized outreach activity.
The plan includes an unsupported claim
Correct the context in the Mission conversation and inspect the available Lead evidence. Generated text is not evidence.
